About Shawn Morgan

Shawn combines a rich blend of professional expertise, personal passion, and deep community dedication as a real estate advisor in Atlanta. With an MBA in International Business from Harding University and a focus on the fascinating history of Atlanta, he brings a nuanced understanding of the city’s evolution and neighborhoods to each  client’s journey. His former career as a marketing and sales executive for Unilever—a global powerhouse in consumer goods—has shaped his sharp eye for on-target property valuation, innovative marketing strategies, and skillful negotiation. As the former VP of Marketing, Sales, and Finance for major brands, Shawn understands the art of crafting impactful strategies that truly connect with people.

Having lived in nine different states and spending a transformative year in Florence, Italy, Shawn developed a profound appreciation for diverse cultures, rich histories, and  the journey of settling into new communities. Over the last 30 years, he and his husband have bought and sold 14 homes, gaining firsthand insight into what makes a property feel like home. Now, they happily call Druid Hills their home—a historic neighborhood designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the same visionary behind New York's Central Park. One of Atlanta’s earliest planned communities, Druid Hills has a timeless charm and natural beauty that perfectly align with Shawn’s love for Atlanta history.

Outside of real estate, Shawn is a passionate home chef, a somewhat dedicated runner, and a true fan of great comedy. Known for his quick wit and natural warmth, he has a knack for making people feel at ease throughout the home-buying journey, ensuring that even the most complex decisions feel manageable. And if you ever find yourself at the Brookhaven Costco, you might just catch him perusing the samples—he believes in finding enjoyment in every experience, big or small.

Shawn’s commitment to his community goes well beyond real estate. He actively supports the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), donating with each transaction to promote equality and proudly standing as a Federal Club member. He champions PAWS Atlanta, believing deeply that animals deserve a quality life, and he is dedicated to Covenant House Georgia, where he supports homeless teens, especially LGBTQ+ youth, in finding safety and opportunity.

Here’s the handwritten note I provide to each prospect (about 40). So far, each quarter I mail them lottery tickets (2) to scratch off. Each mailing is handwritten and the message is different each time, but ends with “why take a chance with another real estate agent”.
